(Keyboard can also be used if you don’t have a controller) You could probably also use an Xbox controller, but I don’t know if Zadig is still needed for that to work or not because I already had it setup by the time I got an xbox controller. (as a Windows user) This link should explain what it is with a download link and there’s also a guide. To make the adapter work with the Dolphin emulator, I downloaded a driver with Zadig. I got mine years ago so I don’t have a link to my exact purchase, but it looks like this.

I use the adapter Nintendo Wii U to make my GameCube controller work. The current version I use is 5.0-11824 because I just haven’t updated in a while.

For The Sims 2 Console I use the GameCube/Wii emulator called Dolphin. My current setup is what’s allowed for speedrunning, so there are other options out there. Oh, sure! Nowadays I emulate all of them.
